When Thomas was at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia we met a lot of amazing people. Some from CHOP and some from the Ronald McDonald House where we were staying. One gentleman we met was Jimmy Murray. He is an amazing guy. I did not know who he was at first. Then I learned how he co founded the Ronald McDonald house of Philadelphia (It was the very 1st one) and was a manager of the Eagles a few decades ago. When we met, he was there filming with the Knights of Columbus. (an AMAZING organization) They asked to interview me and learn more about Thomas's story. It was a great experience. We got to know Mr. Murray a little bit and he is just a great and authentic man.

Our family is forever grateful to Jimmy Murray, the Knights of Columbus and the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia. They made a very difficult time a little easier for us.
