Thomas Update 4/22/20

Hey everyone! Here is an update on Thomas:

Thomas is almost 2! It's amazing how much can change in a year. Last year at this time we were not sure if he could see and he was barely sitting up on his own. Now he has no vision issues and is walking with the assistance of his gate trainer. He is feeling some frustration with crawling and walking. He has such a great desire to get moving. We work daily with therapy activities to get him crawling/walking on his own. Some days are better than others but, he is such a strong willed boy. Thomas has always done things on his own terms.

He has also become a little chatter box. His vocabulary is growing everyday. He is so social and communicates his needs very well. He loves playing with blocks, cars and looking at books. He also loves playing with his sister and dancing to music. Music is very special to Thomas. He LOVES it. He bops along to any song, even when we sing to him. Loves hearing the drums. Maybe he will be a drummer someday. (Need to stock up on Ibuprofen. LOL) He is eating and drinking on his own.(His favorite thing to do) Everyday he learns a new skill and it's an amazing experience to watch him grow.

To sum things up, Thomas is doing great. He is such a happy boy. He brings us such joy and love. I can't wait what to see what the next year brings.
